How do I book an appointment?
Do you have parking at the salon?
Yes we have a small car park at the rear of the building which is accessed through a narrow passage to the left of the salon. We advise taking caution when entering and exiting the salon car park.
Can I book my next appointment while in the salon?
Yes. This is the best way of both securing a future appointment and keeping on top of all your hair requirements.
Can I book multiple appointments?
Initially after lockdown it may be difficult to get an appointment. We hope you will bear with us as we work through all the commitments we had to cancel due to coronavirus. Therefore, while we re-establish our appointment diary we are unable to book multiple appointments. We will ease this restriction once we have reconnected with all our clients.
Can I change the service I want when I arrive for my appointment?
We endeavour to stick to strict appointment times, this is compounded by social distancing measures. But if we are able to fulfil a request in the appointment time allotted we will do our best but would be unable to perform additional services without prior notice.
Should I wear gloves to the salon?
You are welcome to wear whatever PPE you feel necessary to keep you safe.Gloves would not interfere with any service we perform.
Will you supply a mask?
We would encourage you to bring you own face coverage. We have very limited stock of masks available for purchase. If you do not bring a mask we may cancel your appointment.
Can I have my hair coloured if I have dyed it at home?
Yes. But we need to gather as much information as possible from you before we can. It may mean we need to perform a test on a strand of hair to ensure the home dye you have used and the salon dye are compatible. And we may also ask you to perform a skin test to ensure you are not sensitive to colour after using a different product.
Its really important to tell your stylist everything to make sure your new colour is a success.
Can I bring a friend to an appointment with me?
While the social distancing measures are in place we are unable to offer space to extra guests and ask that you attend your appointment on your own.
Can I bring my children with me to my appointment?
Well behaved children have always been welcome in the salon. However, we would ask that while social distancing rules are in place that children do not accompany clients to the salon.
What do I do if I am early for my appointment?
We will be trying to limit client contact and ask that you arrive only at the time of your appointment. We are unable to offer a waiting area inside the salon and recommend waiting in your car until the appropriate time.
What happens if I am late for my appointment?
We will be trying to limit client contacts so if arriving late means we do not have enough time to perform your service before the next appointment we will attempt to reschedule this appointment and you may incur a cancellation charge.
Can I still buy hair products while we ease out of lockdown?
Yes. All our wonderful products will be available as usual. We ask that you do not touch the products while browsing and instead a stylist will bag anything you need to take home. Please take advantage of your stylists knowledge to get the best out of everything.
Can I use cash during the coronavirus pandemic?
We will accept cash if you have no other means of payment but would prefer you pay by contactless card or smart phone. Cheques are not accepted.
Do you have disabled access?
While we do have a few small steps at the front of the salon, a nearly flat entrance is available from the car park by request. Please call the salon and have a chat with us if you have any issues and we will do everything in our power to accommodate.
Do you offer consultations?
We offer free consultations by appointment. This is a great place to start when thinking of a change to cut or colour and a must before any extensions application.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Gift vouchers are available and can be purchased in any amount and redeemed against future services or products.
Why do I need allergy test? I’ve had my hair coloured before.
Your health and wellbeing is of the highest priority. Some people can develop an allergic reaction to hair colouring products over time which have serious consequences. We use clever test patches to detect any risk and avoid unwanted complications.
How do you price your services?
All prices are based on a combination of the level of experience and education of the stylist and the quality and exclusivity of the products and materials we use to complete your service.
Do I need a skin test before my colour service appointment?
Yes. If you have not been for a colour appointment in the past 6 months and we do not have an up to date skin test on file.
What is your cancellation policy?
We can amend or cancel appointments up to 48 hours in advance. However late cancellations or appointment non attendance may result in us charging up to 50% of the missed appointment.
